PROGRAM TITLE: Research Initiative for Community Enhancement
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This is a 3-day research workshop among members of the 6 advocacy committees of the Philippine Ambulatory Pediatric Association, Inc. and chapter members of the organization. There have been various projects implemented by each advocacy committee and it is high time that the outputs need to be put in writing. Thus, this workshop was conceptualized to further educate the members on how to make their research project significant and relevant.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES:
1. To discuss how to create a research question and how to do literature review
2. To identify the objectives of the study
3. To present different methodologies pertinent to the study
4. To determine the sample population of the study
5. To categorize tables needed for statistical analysis of the study
6. To enumerate documents needed in making research
7. To present ways how to prepare a research budget
8. To create a gantt chart for action planning
