PAPA 25th Annual Convention March 3, 2020 PRE-CONVENTION WORKSHOP "ADDRESSING A.I.D.E. IN CHILDREN (Abuse, Injuries, Disasters and Emergencies)"

OBJECTIVES

By the end of the workshop, the participants will have:

1. Raised awareness regarding childhood injuries including appropriate and timely management to address morbidities among children.
2. Acquired screening tools and injury prevention strategies for the clinic, school and community setting.
3. Gained insights about child protection, including strategies for prevention, intervention and treatment of child abuse.
4. Acquired basic  skills in  Mass  Casualty Management during disasters and emergencies.
