General Objectives:
To focus on the various facets of health maintenance of school- aged children and provide opportunities of development and advocacy in specific issues.
Specific Objectives
- To discuss the common medical problems encountered in school-aged children;
- To improve the knowledge and skills of pediatric practitioners in dealing with the medical concerns of school-aged children;
- To discuss recommendations and policies for more comprehensive and effective school health and community programs;
- To present the current advances in health and wellness in the school-age population.
